DISCOVERY CALL
After confirming availability, I’ll invite you to book a Discovery Call to share additional details, ask questions, and build your bespoke event coverage.

RESERVE YOUR EVENT
When you’re ready to book, submit your Proposal + contract received post-call. A flat-rate $800 retainer + travel will be due upon signing to secure your date.

YOU’RE BOOKED!
Your package includes planning calls, questionnaires, and more. We will stay in touch to finalize all the photography details for your event beforehand.

EVENT DAY
It’s officially event day! I will send you an email prior to my arrival re-confirming details. Today, I will wholly dedicate myself to serving your, your team, and guests.
05/
GALLERY DELIVERY
Your gallery will be delivered by the time agreed upon in your package. I will send an editing update halfway through so you never have to wonder about the status of your photos.

My home base is Detroit, Michigan. I cover company and non-profit events across Michigan and the U.S.

There are no travel fees for events within 50-miles of Detroit.
If your event is outside of Metro-Detroit, out-of-state or destination, I will provide an all-inclusive quote including travel prior to booking. Depending on where your event takes us, travel expenses may include a roundtrip flight, hotel stay for an appropriate number of nights, and transportation.

Every event and coverage is different, so I cannot put an exact number of images, but I typically deliver 50-75 photos per hour of coverage. Your final gallery will include all successful images of your day that tell the full story as it was.

I deliver all galleries online sent to you via email with instructions on how to download for safe keeping. You can share this gallery link with other event hosts, colleagues, and friends, and even order prints directly within your gallery.
You also have the option to add-on a custom engraved USB box to commemorate your event. The USB will be mailed to you with your entire gallery pre-loaded on it for gallery access always at hand’s reach.

Yes, while the copyright remains with Alaina Miller Photography, all galleries receive freedom to print, share, and preserve your images.
If you’re interested in submitting your event to publications, please let me know and we will work on that process together.
If you’re interested in purchasing RAWs or copyright, please let me know during our discovery call so I can provide an accurate quote.

Yes! All events are automatically placed on a 2-Installment payment plan — a flat-rate $800 non-refundable retainer + travel is due upon contract to book. The remaining balance is due 2-weeks out so you can be fully present and not have to worry about any payments day-of.
Custom plans are available upon request. Just let me know what works best for you on our initial call.

I will come prepared ready to provide coverage for your event, rain or shine.
Overcast days provide soft light making for great photos!
If you choose to relocate your event indoors, I will adapt on the fly. I am as flexible as possible so that your event goes smoothly.

I have a short-list of go-to preferred videographers or second photographers who I like to have on my team. I will always choose a skilled second or videographer to assist me at your event. Your moments are too important to me to not have a trusted team at my side.

Life naturally comes with unexpected moments, so I understand. The retainer is non-refundable but is transferable to a new date.
I do offer a reschedule for a fee stated within the contract. If you're concerned about this, let's have a conversation because I would love to hear and address those concerns!

On the day of your event, you can expect a calm, steady presence focused on observing your event, catching the key moments and the ones you didn’t even anticipate.
You’ll work with a photographer who steps back when some moments deserve to unfold naturally, yet isn’t afraid to ask people to cheers for a photo, or get up close to the main events.
This balance of documentary storytelling and careful refinement allows your event to be captured authentically, and without pressure.
