ELECTRIC WABEEK COUNTRY CLUB WEDDING
Farrah + Michael
Farrah and Michael’s Wabeek Country Club wedding was so full of love and life, it was electric. They way they were both so loved by their families was so present in the air, it was tangible. Their day was a beautiful blend of two cultures — German and Chaldean, and let’s just say they all knew how to party! Everyone danced all night long, I mean everyone. There was hardly an inch left on the dance floor. After looking through their gallery, you’ll see what I mean!
MORE ABOUT THEIR DOCUMENTARY-STYLE WEDDING DAY
The day started out getting ready at Farrah’s mom’s house — a stunning home with a hand-painted mural wall that had my jaw on the floor. Farrah and her bridesmaids got ready college dorm-style, lipsticks and eyeshadows splayed across the floor. It was such a casual and calm atmosphere which truly set the intentional tone of the day.
Wedding Ceremony at Mother of God Church
The anticipation leading up to the ceremony, held at Mother of God Church, was palpable. The second the doors opened and Michael & Farrah saw each other for the first time that day, they were in tears. Happy tears. Their love for each other barely contained from their faces as Farrah took each step closer down the aisle. What an honor to be there to capture it.
They held a greeting line post-ceremony and there were hugs all around. Then, we made our way to Wabeek Country Club at a casual pace, nothing rushed or forced.
A Country Club Cocktail Hour + Reception
As their guests started to arrive for cocktail hour, I took the newly-weds out to a beautiful bridge with the club’s wedding coordinator, Diane, for a few minutes of portraits and alone time. Cocktail hour was a feast for the eyes, as was every elegant detail of this wedding! From a larger-than-life seating chart, a live violinist playing, a lush floral arch, a welcome dance with everyone on the floor, and the bride and groom decorating their own wedding cake with a fruit-toss, you’ll be dazzled by the spectacle that was Farrah and Michael’s wedding.
None of this, though, out-shined the real reason for the gathering — to bear witness the immeasurable devotion and adoration between Farrah and Michael, the promise they made to each other, and the support from their friends and families. It was the most genuine and memorable day of love for everyone.
